Domino Sets

There are basically five sets of dominoes used in different domino games. Let us individually find out what they are. The most well-known among the sizes of domino set is the double-six (6-6) dominoes. This domino set is used in majority of the regular games of domino. Consisting of 28 tiles, this set of tiles is more manageable than some of the bigger sets, and consumes limited space on the table.

The tiles of the double-six set range between 0 (other times blank) to 6. There are seven suits made up of seven members. The 6-6 tile is the highest value while the double zero or blank is the lowest value.

Another set of domino tiles is the double-nine (9-9) dominoes which are used in some of the more complex variations in domino. They can provide variations to the basic games, or to permit more players to join.

This set consists of 55 tiles ranging from 0 to 9. The double-nine set consists of ten suits, with ten members. The 9-9 tile is the highest value in this set while the double-blank is the lowest.

The third set of domino tiles is the double-twelve (12-12) is used in some of the more complex variations in domino. They can also provide variations to the basic games, or to permit more players to join.

There are 91 tiles in this domino set, with the value of each tile ranging from 0 to 12. Thirteen members make up the thirteen suits. The highest value is the 12-12 tile while the 0-0 is the lowest.

The double fifteen set can be played in some of the more complex variations in domino. They can also provide variations to the basic games, or to allow more players to join.

The double-fifteen set totals 136 dominoes, with the numbers 0 - 15. The 15-15 set has sixteen suits, with sixteen members per suit. The 15-15 tile is the highest value and the double blank the lowest value.

In the double eighteen set, the tiles can be utilized in some of the more complex variations in domino. They can also provide variations to the basic games, or to allow more players to join. Tiles ranging from 0 to 18 make up the 190 dominoes of the double-eighteen set. Nineteen suits have nineteen individual members with the double-eighteen as the highest value and the double blank the least value.
